-
- The martial arts are one of the
most powerful tools in creating positive change. Through
training, students will condition not only their body, but their
mind as well. Confidence will be achieved by self-discipline,
and students will have a greater respect not only for
themselves, but for others as well.
-
- Our students are treated with
respect and praise, encouragement and positive reinforcement are
commonplace in the dojo. Classes are enjoyable, entertaining and
designed to ensure that we keep the attention of the students
resulting in everyone wanting to come back for more.
-
- Our Little Samurai curriculum
was developed specifically for the needs of children 5 and
under. The students wear special uniforms, have their own logo,
and have special belt colors to add to the excitement of their
class. The Little Samurai curriculum consists of techniques that
help with balance, motor skill development and coordination. We
also cover important areas of safety such as good touch/bad
touch, what to do if you get lost, stranger danger, and
anti-bully/anti-abduction, just to name a few.
-
- Through the traditional ranking
system of earning belts, students will learn the ability to set
achievable goals and experience the benefits of following
through. These tools will follow them throughout their lives,
giving them the opportunity to excel academically with better
study habits. Theyll become more attentive students in class,
gain greater comprehension, and better retention as well.
-
-
- Students are encouraged to learn
and practice the Little Samurai Student Creed. This is an
integral part of the Little Samurai program and its gone over
and encouraged to be reviewed at home.
